Tested a Line 6 G30 ...
Tested a Line 6 G30 at gig yesterday. Blues, rock and more heavy repertoire at a small club. Impressive tone compared to my old AKG WM 40. The? AKG deliver a pretty more thin tone and it does produce some awful rattle/snare harmonics.The G30 does the job!

For people trying to buy one,? you should check out thomann.de It has lots of good stuff, very cheap too. They have these in there.

It's? good for ...
It's? good for clean and mild rock but not Metallica had a bunch of feedback and it would drop out at least one time during practice. I got a refund it's great don't get me wrong it's just that extra brightness and slight tone loss I did not like, but i will purchase again when i got spare money just not now. I switched to monster cables and everything is back to normal.

@Jsinification ...? no .. sorry ... that is NOT if you just stand there. My entire band is VERY active during gigs. On ocassion I have played on stages a good 200 feet across .. and have never had any wireless blank out (if it is worth any decent amount) My current SLX by Shure has NEVER blanked out and I think the line6 here is better since it is digital. So, other than then 5% of the people on the planet in BIG BANDS this is a great tool to have. (and big bands use wireless too ;-)

@MikeyGee001 That's if you just stand there and play, but say a band like Slipknot were playing, where they throw their guitars around, and jump all over the place, unable to stand still, imagine how many times? the guitar would just blank out. All it needs is a small upgrade to keep it completely stable.

@Jsinification When you play any kind of Gig .. bit it a BIG stage or a SMALL stage .. wireless sure helps clear clutter and take away the fear of? walking on your cable and unplugging in the middle of a tune.

I think the main purpose of me using this is to screw around with people by putting the amp in the bushes in front my house, and playing the Mario tunnel theme from? my room. Other than that, great for parties if you want a band playing through the entire house.

I find the Relay has a BIT more highs ... but the? difference is Sooooo minimal it is almost not worth mentioning .. s**t ... I may sell of my Shure System ...
